The Wave Story

Wave Bar & Lounge

"Mr. Rodney Dennis and Mr. Antonio Bond met back in high school and have been best friends ever since. For more than a decade, they’ve shared the dream of opening a restaurant and bar together.

Both are serial entrepreneurs, each with a history of building businesses in the Akron and Canton area. Over the years, Rodney would often call Antonio to tour different properties—more than 30 in total—always chasing the perfect spot.

Then, in March 2025, Rodney found it. A property on Cleveland Avenue in Canton. The moment they walked in, they knew it was the one. They raised the funds, signed the lease, and began the hard work of bringing their vision to life.

Through challenges, late nights, and plenty of determination, Wave Bar & Lounge was born. Today, we’re proud to bring Canton a fresh, vibrant, and flavorful vibe unlike anything else in the city.
